Rent is roughly £79 per week, utility bills (from Glide) will cost about £11 extra per week.
Because the house is a student house, there is a payment schedule rather than weekly rent; the payment schedule can be discussed and arranged with the estate agents upon signing the lease. The total cost for the house for the year is £3, 792, with bills on top of that. There is no agency fee or deposit to pay.
The room is fairly large and has a double bed, desk and storage. The house is very, very close to the University of Derby main campus, (it would take a couple of minutes to walk there) and it is about a 25 minute walk into the town center. The house has a kitchen with all expected requirements, including a gas oven, sink, a full-sized fridge, and a large chest freezer. There is one large bathroom with a toilet, sink and shower/bath, and a second bathroom downstairs with only a toilet. Finally there is a lounge with two sofas and a coffee table.
There are four other male residents moving in around the same date, all are law students at the University of Derby, aged 18-20, we are fairly quiet and easy to get along with and enjoy video games, music and movies and such. None of us smoke and are fairly clean, neat and sociable people.
The move in date is 1/09/2014, and the lease lasts a minimum of 12 months.
Thank you for reading, if you have any further questions, or want to organise a viewing of the house, do not hesitate to let me know, and I'll help out in any way I can.
